How to Play
Objective
The objective of Bang! The Dice Game: Drinking Edition is to achieve your role’s goal condition while adding fun drinking rules to enhance the experience. Players will roll dice, attack others, heal, and deal with the consequences of their actions through drinks!
- Sheriff: Kill all of the outlaws and renegades.
- Deputies: Protect the sheriff at all costs.
- Outlaws: Kill the sheriff.
- Renegades: Be the last player standing.
Setup

Role Cards:
- Take the role cards based on the number of players. Shuffle and deal them randomly to each player. The Sheriff must reveal their role, while all other players keep their roles secret.
Number of Players:
- 3 Players: 1 Deputy, 1 Renegade, 1 Outlaw.
- 4 Players: 1 Sheriff, 1 Renegade, 2 Outlaws.
- 5 Players: 1 Sheriff, 1 Renegade, 2 Outlaws, 1 Deputy.
- 6 Players: 1 Sheriff, 1 Renegade, 3 Outlaws, 1 Deputy.
- 7 Players: 1 Sheriff, 1 Renegade, 3 Outlaws, 2 Deputies.
- 8 Players: 1 Sheriff, 2 Renegades, 3 Outlaws, 2 Deputies.

Character Cards:
- Shuffle all character cards and deal one face-up to each player. These cards provide each player with a unique ability.
- Each player takes the number of bullets (life points) equal to the number shown on their character card. The sheriff receives two additional bullets.

Arrows and Bullets:
- Place all arrow tokens and remaining bullet tokens in the center of the table.

First Player:
- The sheriff always plays first.
Player's Turn
- Rolling Dice:
- On a player's turn, they roll all five dice.
- Players may re-roll any dice (except those showing a dynamite symbol) up to two additional times.
- Resolving Dice:
- After rolling, the effects of all dice are resolved in the following order:
- Arrow: Immediately take one arrow token from the center.
- Dynamite: The die cannot be re-rolled. If a player rolls three dynamites, their turn ends immediately, and they lose 1 health point.
- Bull's Eye 1: Deal 1 damage to a player sitting next to you (left or right).
- Bull's Eye 2: Deal 1 damage to a player two seats away (left or right).
- Beer: Heal 1 life point for yourself or another player. A player cannot heal more life points than their starting amount.
- Gatling: If you roll three Gatling symbols, deal 1 damage to every other player and remove all your arrow tokens.
- Drinking Penalties and Rewards: After dice effects are resolved, players must follow the specific drinking rules for the chosen variant of the game (see below).
- Next Player: After a player's turn is complete, play moves clockwise to the next player.
